Slow Galley’s Drift

Slow Galley's Drift have an inspired take on alt-folk, dream pop and kosmische which was described as 'really beautiful alternative-folk' by BBC Introducing.

They consist of multi-instrumentalists James Street, Ric Booth and J Barlow who write and record together in their Sheffield-based studio. The trio's songs are often set to rich soundscapes which, whilst centred around a core of guitar, synth, fiddle and drums, incorporate a diverse range of instruments and experimental production techniques.

The band’s Total Field Image EP is due for release 27-4-25.

The band’s earlier recordings are available from the Three Galleys Records webstore, from the Slow Galley’s Drift Bandcamp page, and all major streaming and download platforms including Spotify and iTunes.

Slow Galley’s Drift are playing Bishops House, Sheffield, supporting the wonderful Elspeth Anne on 1-5-25 - tickets available from WeGotTickets.
